Google Opportunities

Greetings from Google!

Applications for Google's Computer Science Summer Institute (CSSI) and the Generation Google Scholarship have opened for graduating high school seniors! We encourage students to apply to both opportunities. As part of the scholarship, recipients are awarded a 10,000 USD or 5,000 CAD scholarship and will attend CSSI in the summer of 2015. Google Cambridge is one of several locations around the country that will be hosting the CSSI program this summer.

We are looking for students who who have shown interest or potential in CS but are perhaps unsure about choosing CS as a major or may need supplemental support. It is our hope that these programs can help provide the support they need to ensure a commitment to CS as they start their undergraduate careers.

We need your help in identifying incoming freshmen (current high school seniors) who would benefit most from involvement and are considering studying CS or a related field. Would you mind posting our flyer (see attached) where possible, such as in classrooms or on bulletin boards? Please also pass the message below to any students or colleagues you know who work with programs that target high school students.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email or
